NICK TC SCAN (GAMBIA) LTD. is seeking an experienced eTracking Field Technician to support our operations in Jiboroh. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of eTracking devices on containers and vehicles, ensuring smooth operation and accurate data collection. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain eTracking devices on vehicles and containers.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting and repairs to ensure optimal system performance.
- Monitor and test the functionality of eTracking systems to ensure accurate data transmission.
- Collaborate with backend teams and clients to resolve technical issues.
- Train users on the proper use and maintenance of eTracking equipment and software.
- Maintain records of installation, repairs, and system upgrades for reporting.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of tasks while adhering to safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in IT, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields.
- Proven experience with GPS, eTracking, or other tracking systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with eTracking devices, GPS systems, and installation processes.
- Good communication skills for client interaction and teamwork.
- Basic knowledge of networking and IT hardware.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Jiboroh region.
